Check the fixing against the mounting surface
Confirm the required hole diameter, permitted surface thickness and usable fixing length. There must be access underneath for the fixing hardware and future maintenance. A basin rim, countertop or support panel can leave less room than the top photograph suggests.
Confirm the supply connection before installation
Check the hose connections against your existing valves and regional plumbing arrangement. Similar-looking threads are not proof of compatibility.
